The Hermessence Violette Volynka is an elegant and unexpected meeting of two unique materials that mirror each other like two alter egos. "I chose Volynka leather as my starting point. OLFACTORY NOTES
Unexpected and elegant, Violette Volynka presents a perfectly balanced blend of delicate, intense violet, revealed by a raw and powerful leather.
An Hermessence suitable for both men and women. 

THE OBJECT
The House's iconic lantern bottle is showcased by a radiant purple lacquer on the glass, echoed by the leather cap with its saddle-stitch signature and topped with an engraved Hermès Clou de Selle.

ETHICS
The 100 ml size can be replenished from the 200 ml refill. A responsible gesture, integral to an object created to last.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL
With its ridged grain, reddish-brown hue and burnt-wood scent, Volynka leather tells the story of vegetable tanning. Incredibly resistant, it perpetuates centuries-old techniques, such as oak-bark shredding or soaking in birch-bark baths. This long-forgotten know-how was revived by Hermès' talented artisans in 2017 when a number of hides was discovered in the hold of a shipwrecked vessel.
