Hermès in the Making in Singapore

An introduction to Hermès artisans and the house’s sustainable and responsible business model at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, from 1st to 9th October 2022.

Hermès objects are designed to last, to be repaired and passed on. Artisans from ten or so of the house’s métiers have brought their tools, materials and expert gestures from their workshops to Singapore to explain how these objects are crafted.

Their work reflects some of the preoccupations of the era: preserving and passing on know-how, the quest for quality, durability and innovation, and respect for the environment.

“Hermès in the Making” offers a journey made up of demonstrations of craftsmanship, films, workshops, and events. A visit to plan according to your desires, curiosity and interests.

In 2021, nearly 45,000 visitors discovered the first “Hermès in the Making” in Copenhagen, which took place at the Danish Architecture Center (DAC).
