The Story behind

Inspired by the coats of arms printed on horse blankets, the Avalon blankets and pillows created in 1988 are iconic Hermès pieces. 
Woven in Scotland on a jacquard loom, the design appears in negative on the back. The name Avalon echoes the British island where, according to Arthurian literature, the famous sword Excalibur was forged.
