However, it should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.

The bands in technical materials (metal, rubber and nylon) are water-resistant to pool and sea water. We recommend rinsing the band in fresh water after exercising and bathing in salt or chlorinated water.
They can be easily cleaned with a mild soap.
For the Hermès Sport band, clean the clasp with a damp cloth if it comes into contact with salt water or sweat.
