The story behind
Sun-brightened corals and seaweed shimmering with cool water compose the oceanic garden of the new Natures Marines tableware collection.
To create the designs on the 34 pieces of the collection, artist Katie Scott drew inspiration from illustrations by 19th-century English botanists, and from marine flora found on the shores of Wales.
Following the contours of the porcelain teapots, plates and bowls, layers of delicate, translucent branches sway in the current. The gold rims evoke the radiance of sunbeams under the waves.
