The story behind
Based on the Les Chevaux Dechaines scarf design
Two prancing horses face off. At first glance, their symmetrical silhouettes seem to be simply drawn in pencil. But Octave Marsal's precise lines are composed of a succession of buckles, chains, stirrups and straps inspired by the Émile Hermès collection of illustrated catalogues. You can almost imagine them flying off the paper and onto the silk of a scarf, only to remain imprinted there.
