The story behind
Numerous delicate shades borrowed from nature itself make up Annie Faivre's lush garden. The artist drew inspiration from the landscapes around Collioure, a village in southern France where Matisse, Derain, Dufy and their friends set up their easels and revolutionized the early 20th century with their first Fauvist paintings. This space is a haven of peace, its Mediterranean species evoking the scent of pine trees and the rustle of palm trees in the wind.
