Casaque Jeux d'Ordre watch and cufflink box

The story behind

The lid of the Casaque case features the “Jeux d'Ordre” design by Gianpaolo Pagni. Inspired by traditional wooden games, this fresco of geometric shapes captures the meticulous use of stamps which is a major feature of Gianpaolo Pagni's work. The box is crafted in wood marquetry with a combination of three woods in different shades: cherry, sapele and ash. This technique requires great care in the preparation of the wooden pieces so that when assembled, each piece fits together to the nearest tenth of a millimeter, creating an even surface despite the different types of wood. This box is available in four sizes: 8 watches, 6 watches and cufflinks, cigars and a poker set.
