The story behind
In 1982, Henri d'Origny combined braided straps and bridles from the Émile Hermès collection with bits featuring "keys" – small metal pieces added to encourage the horse to salivate and relax its mouth. In French, these bits are known as "mors a jouet". The rhombuses, stars and droplets of this bandana version lend a lightness and depth to the composition, reinventing the spirit of the House’s emblematic equestrian designs.
