The story behind
24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is a legendary address, in itself an image of Hermès. These words call to mind the wonderful window displays that fascinate passers-by, the branches of the trees in the rooftop garden, and the banners held aloft by the cavalryman sitting astride his horse on top of the building. Evan Hecox based the composition of this scarf on his typographical paintings in which letters are rotated and transformed, like games of skill. His work is reminiscent of Bauhaus and avant-garde Russian graphics, with its color influences in a palette redolent of a singularly Parisian elegance.
