The story behind
With lightness and finesse, Hermès en Contrepoint punctuates the everyday as well as special occasions. This kaolin white porcelain dinner service is lined with friezes in soft or bright colors: pinks, violets, blues, greens, oranges… thirty different shades. The vibrant geometric motifs, hand-drawn and painted in watercolor by artist Nigel Peake, bring us into the graphic universe of musical meter and its repeated fractions, inviting us to create a multitude of combinations. Plates and cups with varying friezes, a minimalist teapot and platters. Each piece has its own decor, its own rhythm. Simplicity and freshness always ring true.
