The story behind
In 1987, Kermit Olivier summoned the plains, mountains, deserts, and rivers of Texas, composing this joyful and folksy design. A colorful turkey — the emblem of this southern US state — presides majestically over the whirl of mustangs, pumas, coyotes, birds, cacti, flowers, and garlands of vines that surround its finely speckled feathers. This forever scarf celebrates every aspect of Texas' fauna and flora.
