The story behind
Perched on their big wheels, cabriolets, small phaetons, Berlins, grand coupes and carriages pass before our eyes, rivalling each other in delicacy. Based on plates from 19th-century illustrated catalogues in the Émile Hermès collection, this delicately composed drawing combines balance and lightness.
