Eperon d'Or et Tenues de Jour embroidered giant scarf
Giant scarf in silk twill with hand-rolled edges and hand-embroidered with glass beads (100% silk).
The fortunate encounter between two iconic designs, Eperon d'Or and Couvertures et Tenues de Jour, is enhanced by delicate, subtle embroidery. Leather appliques adorn the edges, paying homage to Hermès' saddlery spirit.

The story behind
Two designs have been layered on top of this scarf: Eperon d'Or, first created in 1962, and Couvertures et Tenues de Jour, dating back to 1974. As if looking through a stencil, the perfect lines of the first one reveal the precise design of the second. Horses appear in the buckles, and we can only imagine their mysteries, as if in the daylight of a half-open shutter.
