Selles en Duo blanket

The story behind

Inspired by the Moseman saddlery catalog, Tong Ren has created a duo of saddles with geometric shapes and textures reminiscent of woven fabrics. In the style of a loom, threads and meshing needles are replaced with colors and a brush on paper. The artist recreates hand-weaving, twill and plain weave, to give a sense of volume to the “Selles en Duo” design.
