The story behind

The Émile Hermès collection includes numerous illustrated trade catalogues presenting drawings of harness buckles, saddlery and accessories in intricate detail. Inspired by one of these images, Florence Manlik has given us a new depiction of a horse covered by its blanket, calling it "Favori": the name inscribed on a horse's plaque that is also conserved in Émile Hermès' office. The fine and precise lines, showcased by the highly skilled hand painting, meticulously detail the graphic motif of the blanket.
