The story behind

This scarf presents a portrait of a high-spirited horse in all its finery. It is one of the frames that inspired Jacques Eudel to create the Couvertures et Tenues de Jour scarf in 1962, based on trade catalogs from the Émile Hermès collection. In it, a dozen beautiful horses cut a fine figure. Sporting the figures and colors of their owners, giving us a glimpse into the pride of the equestrian world with a specific outfit for every event of the day! The horses must have the right blankets and blinkers for the stables, pre-show and presentation, and to suit the different seasons and venues.
